Camp Description
Foundations for Life Building confidence through everyday skills. Campers learn practical life skills that every child should know—from managing time and preparing meals to basic kitchen safety, teamwork, and situational awareness. Throughout the week, they'll build confidence while making breakfast favorites, lunches, complete dinners, sides, and desserts from scratch. Skills Covered: Time management Kitchen safety & basics Fabrics & simple knots Wood & home repair exploration Situational awareness Breakfast, lunch, dinner, sides & desserts This week is all about creating with your hands while developing problem-solving skills. Campers practice beginner woodworking, sewing, drilling, gluing, taping, patching, and crafting while continuing to grow their confidence in the kitchen through knife skills, seasoning, and understanding how flavors work together. Skills Covered: Hammering Sewing Patching & repairs Drilling & simple tools Adhesives & building materials Culinary blueprint & recipe planning Flavor combinations Paper crafting Collaborative service project
