Winter Break Camp Week 1 | December 21–23, 2026 | Full Day

All of our Winter Break Camps will be led by our Co-Founder Hayley Schilling. Hayley holds a bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Child Development from California State University, Northridge, and is a Child Development Specialist with decades of experience working with children from preschool through elementary school, with specialized expertise in supporting neurodivergent children.

Three full days of hands-on learning designed to build practical life skills, confidence, independence, creativity, and real-world problem-solving. Full-day campers experience both the morning and afternoon blocks, giving them a unique mix of everyday life skills, cooking, crafting, cultural exploration, and teamwork.

During the morning block, campers will learn knot tying and basic sewing, situational awareness and public safety, and nutrition and wellness. They’ll practice skills they can actually use at home, at school, and out in the world—from threading a needle and navigating unfamiliar situations to making informed food choices and developing healthy everyday habits.

In the afternoon, campers will explore winter and holiday traditions from around the world through cooking, crafting, and cultural discovery. They’ll prepare traditional foods, create hands-on projects, and learn about the stories, customs, and celebrations of different cultures and religions, including Christmas, Hanukkah, and other winter traditions.

By the end of the three-day camp, campers will leave with new practical skills, greater independence, and a broader understanding of the world around them—all while creating, cooking, collaborating, and having fun.

Full-Day Lunch Break

Full-day campers receive complimentary supervised lunch care between the morning and afternoon blocks.

Please pack a lunch for your camper each day. Due to public health requirements (we know it's ironic!), campers must bring their own lunch. The lunch break gives campers time to eat, recharge, and get ready for the afternoon program.

What to Bring

Please send your camper each day with:

A packed lunchA refillable water bottleSunscreen already applied

All supplies, ingredients, equipment, and materials needed for camp activities are provided.

What to Wear

Campers should wear comfortable clothes that can handle a little mess and closed-toe shoes suitable for active, hands-on activities.

Food & Allergies

Campers may taste, sample, and eat the foods they prepare throughout camp with parent/guardian authorization. Please disclose all allergies and dietary restrictions and complete the required camper forms before camp begins.

If your camper has an allergy or significant dietary restriction, one of our Camp Directors will reach out for a consultation to discuss your camper’s needs and the accommodations we can provide. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate allergies, food activities take place in a shared commercial kitchen and cross-contact is possible.

Booking & Cancellation

We know plans can change! Bookings may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.

If your camper has an allergy or dietary need and, after speaking with our Camp Director, you are not comfortable with the accommodations we can provide, the standard cancellation restrictions will be waived and the affected camp booking will be fully refunded.

See our full Cancellation Policy & Terms & Conditions for more details.
